The Bitterroot Winter Special Olympics was founded in 1983 to help celebrate and empower the resilience of the human spirit through sports. Our mission is to create an experience where every single person is accepted, and welcomed, regardless of their abilities. We believe in the transformative power of sports and the positive impact it has on the individuals who participate and the communities around them.
2026 Games
The Bitterroot Winter Special Olympics will be celebrating its 43rd year hosted by the Victor Pirates! Come celebrate this year's games at Lost Trail Powder Mountain!
Make sure to visit the "Register Your Team" and complete the Team Registration form. Don't forget to fill out the housing form if you will be staying overnight at the Bitterroot River Inn, Hamilton.
